Build Your Own Scarecrow
Join us for a FREE workshop on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27. (Times TBA)
Participants are welcome to bring their own materials to build and enter the contest. Kimmel Orchard also offers pre-made scarecrow kits for purchase ($25 per kit), perfect for families, clubs, groups, or organizations interested in creating a team scarecrow.
A prize will be awarded to the best scarecrow in the field— so get creative!
**All entries are due by Friday, October 9th at 12 pm (NOON).
It’s Pumpkin season!
Decorate a pumpkin and enter our No-Carve Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Free community workshops at Morton-James Public Library will help spark creativity and get you started.
Participants are encouraged to bring any additional materials they’d like to use for their themed pumpkin. This year’s decoration categories include:
🎃 Best Floral/Autumn–Themed Pumpkin
🎃 Best Animal-Themed Pumpkin
📅 Workshop dates will be announced soon, so be sure to watch for updates.
✨ Prizes will be awarded to both an Adult and a Youth winner in each category—so do your best and have fun!

Scarecrow Fields Hayrack Rides (Saturdays only on October 17th, 24th and 31st)
The fields of Kimmel Orchard are fully ornamented with scarecrows. Come and see all the mysterious creations.
