Mead Workshop

Hosted by Great Plains Master Beekeeping

  • Where: Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard

This workshop's objective is to encourage all mead makers to be equipped with the knowledge to expand their trade in the Great Plains Region. This course will focus on honey, the art of mead making, and the legality of going commercial. It truly has everything to offer for both the novice and intermediate mead maker as well as anyone who is interested in getting into this fascinating skill set. 

This course is offered by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Bee Lab through the Great Plains Master Beekeeping program. The cost for this class is $85 per person, which will include horde-oeuvres, a catered dinner, honey tasting, raffles, and lectures from both Ken Schramm and the UNL Bee Lab.
